A sight on a paintball gun is used to help you see where you are aiming. Sights are usually laser-type, whether they project a beam or you see a dot when you look through the sight. Sights are good when you have time to look though them or need help aiming. Unfortunately paintballs don't fly straight consistently and very often you don't have time to take careful aim with a sight, so often sights are impractical. Sights have a very broad price range of $20-$90.
