Lord Give Me Peace

The search for "inner peace" is very common. Job said in Job 3:26,"I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil." Wow, does this sound like anyone that you know?

Jesus is the only answer to true inner peace. He is the "Prince of Peace." In at least 18 of the 27 New Testament books a prayer or a wish for peace is mentioned in the first five verses.

" But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace,… His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility." These are the word of Paul in Eph. 2:13-16. Jesus died so that we could have peace with God and inner peace within ourselves.

We, at Westchurch, would love to help you with your search for peace. We are a caring community trying to help one another see and enjoy the many blessings of God. Our prayer for you is found in Numbers 6:24-26.

" The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace."
